applet is faster in Netscape as opposed to Internet Explorer

    why is that??? Also the applet is faster than the viewer as well... I
    created a server on my Linux box at home... I then view it here at work on a
    windows 98 machine.

    For shutting down, one possible problem though: if a program 'hangs' you
    cannot click the 'end task' button on the dialog because vnc is ussually
    shut down already. If in need, there are registry settings to enable a
    timeout on this dlg...
