When operating VNC viewer from Netscape 4.04 on a SPARC
the update of the screen/desktop stalls until I move the mouse.

Has anyone else noticed this. The other point which is
not VNCs fault, is the performance viewing through a web browser
on a slow SPARC (Ultra1) results in very slow updates with bitmap
imagery. The PC client or native view on either platform has
much better performance.
